Job Title: Formalities Officer

As a Formalities Officer at NLO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing of patent documents. Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee that final documents reach the relevant official bodies and representatives abroad, adhering to strict deadlines and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the submission of patent documents to the European Patent Office (EPO) and other relevant authorities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate and timely processing of documents.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of intellectual property trends and developments.
  • Provide training and support to new colleagues to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as law, business, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a commercial environment, preferably in the finance, banking, or transport industry.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch, both spoken and written.
