Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance & Reliability Manager to join our team at the Geleen site in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of maintenance and reliability processes and systems, as well as strong leadership skills to drive the efficient execution of plans and programs. This role requires a true interest and drive for technology progress, combined with excellent people skills to lead a team of 10 direct reports.

  • Identify equipment reliability and maintenance issues through audits or data analysis
  • Develop and implement reliability and maintenance programs and technical directives
  • Coordinate daily maintenance plans with the Daily Execution Leader/Manufacturing Expert/Technical Manager
  • Ensure proper maintenance handoff of repaired equipment back to the 24/7 Team
  • Manage Process safety requirements (MOC, SIS) and participate in MOCs
  • Lead a team consisting of core maintenance experts, reliability experts, and a maintenance scheduler

Qualifications:

Education: Mechanical, E&I or process chemistry engineering

Knowledge of chemical processes and hazards

Strong understanding of engineering practices, technical legislation, technical requirements, and contractor management
