About the Role
As a key member of the Credit Risk team at ABN AMRO Bank, you will play a crucial role in defining and implementing credit risk regulatory requirements. With a strong focus on leadership and collaboration, you will be responsible for guiding the team in developing and maintaining a proactive approach to credit risk management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Credit Risk Requirement Settings team in developing and maintaining a deep understanding of credit risk regulations, including CRR, CRD, EBA, CoRep, and FinRep
- Collaborate with senior management, business teams, and IT departments to implement credit risk regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain a semi-sprint based approach to work package management
- Represent the team in meetings with senior management and bank-wide projects
- Organize and lead the team to become a proactive centre for credit risk requirements setting
Requirements
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a relevant position
- Strong knowledge of credit risk regulations, including CRR, CRD, EBA, CoRep, and FinRep
- Leadership skills to take on this challenge and lead the team
- Academic education in a relevant field
- Fast thinking and ability to work on detailed questions as well as overarching challenges
- Frequent contact with stakeholders on both content and strategy
- Pro-active, able to deliver a message and steer discussions
About the Team
CROS is the team within Credit Risk that enhances the risk type owner (RTO) role within the bank and as such is owner of the Credit Risk policies. The team works closely with departments responsible for credit risk management, policies, modelling, and regulatory model management, as well as IT departments and supervising authorities.
