Job Description

Job Title: Freelance Translator - Hebrew to English

Job Summary: The International Criminal Court is seeking a highly skilled Freelance Translator to work on a project basis, translating documents from Hebrew to English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate documents from Hebrew to English with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Work independently on a project basis, with occasional collaboration with the LSU Translation Team
  • Apply feedback provided by the LSU Translation Team to ensure delivery of a quality product
  • Meet deadlines and deliver translations on time

Requirements:

  • High-level proficiency in Hebrew and English
  • Experience in translation or a related field, preferably in a legal or human rights setting
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with CAT tools
  • Excellent eye for detail, accuracy, style, and usage
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Working Conditions:

The Freelance Translator will work on a project basis, with occasional collaboration with the LSU Translation Team. The Translator will be responsible for delivering high-quality translations on time, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to information security constraints.
