We are looking for a Workday Functional Expert to join our team. As a Workday Functional Expert, you will be responsible for automating operational accounting processes with the Group Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and optimization of internal finance processes.
- Proactively improve existing internal processes and develop solutions together with various teams.
- Analyze operational bottlenecks and automate controls.
- Collaborate and align regional and global requirements.
- Support and maintain Workday (and other applications) for finance globally.
- Work closely with all of our Finance, HR, Payroll and procurement teams globally to gain a deep understanding of our finance processes.
Requirements
- 3+ year's professional experience in Workday functional role and reporting expertise.
- Ability to communicate clearly and present information to a non-technical audience.
- Independent work style, delivering projects and driving forward standard methodologies.
- Understanding of architecture principles, data models, functional interactions, privacy regulations and security.
- Hands-on and pragmatic approach, using technologies to bring automation ideas to life.
- Innovative problem-solving capabilities and initiative to drive change with others.
- Detail-oriented and ensuring the integrity of changes.
- Experience with stakeholder management.
- Understanding of Finance and/or Accounting is a plus.
- Experience with procurement applications such as Coupa is a plus.
