Role Overview
The Sales Associate plays a critical role in driving new logo and upsell leads, while also learning from the Sales team to support regional growth. This entry-level position provides essential support to the sales team and offers aspiring sales professionals a path for career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential leads through cold calling, email campaigns, events, and social media outreach.
- Conduct thorough research to identify key decision-makers and understand the needs of potential clients.
- Engage with prospects to understand their challenges and position GTT's products effectively.
- Schedule meetings to support the sales team with qualified leads and shadow these meetings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead activities.

- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation targets.
- Support account and opportunity plan development.

Job Scope
This role primarily interacts with sales teams, sales support, order processing, sales engineering, marketing, and service delivery, as well as direct customer-facing activities and lead generation.
Required Experience/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or telecommunications sales, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
