The Role

As a Finance Manager at Skytree, you'll report directly to the Head of Finance & Control. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing financial operations, including daily management of all financial and administrative affairs
  • Financial planning and control, modeling, budgeting, internal control, and reporting
  • Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with Dutch GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS
  • Conducting financial analysis, identifying trends, deviations, and potential areas of concern or improvement
  • Providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making by senior management
  • Managing all accounting operations for multiple and international entities, including newly established local entities globally
  • Managing intercompany consolidation and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Developing and maintaining a robust internal control framework to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • Coordinating with auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensuring compliance
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • CPA preferred
  • 5-7 years of combined accounting and finance experience, preferably in a startup or scale-up environment
  • Experience in Operations/Manufacturing/Hardware companies is a plus
  • Knowledge of IFRS, including financial reporting requirements in NL, and experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Strong understanding of both Dutch and US GAAP standards and their practical application
