At voco™ The Hague, we are seeking an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the engineering, maintenance and operational integrity of our flagship hotel.

This pivotal role is part of our Management Team, reporting directly to the General Manager. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring facilities are in optimal condition, managing budgets, and maintaining relationships with external contacts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the overall maintenance of the hotel, including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and life safety systems.
  • Leading and developing a team of engineers, improving their performance through mentoring, coaching, and feedback.
  • Executing IHG's preventive maintenance program to ensure facilities are maintained and in service.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with outside contacts, including regulatory agencies, contractors, suppliers, and others as needed.
  • Supervising (sub)contractors' execution of repair and maintenance tasks.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits including duty meals and discounted hotel accommodation worldwide.
