Salary

We offer a competitive compensation package, estimated to be around €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

The Senior Refining Operations Expert will play a crucial role in supporting the wider VPR performance team by leveraging expertise to improve and enhance business activities.

  • Design and implement algorithms to extract, structure, and analyze data from refining processes.
  • Apply existing software and tools or develop new ones to transform raw data into usable business information.
  • Translate insights obtained from data into concrete recommendations for business operations in written reports, dashboards, or presentations.
  • Manage and enhance data streams and analyses.
  • Automate tasks such as data collection.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (e.g., econometrics, engineering, or mathematics).
  • 2 – 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong database programming skills (such as Python and SQL) and excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes (e.g., Git).
  • Ability to convey complex analysis in a concise and understandable manner.
  • Good command of English language.
