Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled System Owner to lead our Interior Systems Platform team. As a key member of our Technology Management department, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the vision for our interior design and experience on board our Workboats product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a clear vision and strategy for our interior systems platform, aligning with our business objectives and market opportunities.
- Manage the development and standardization of modular and scalable system families, variants, and options to meet the needs of our complete Damen Workboats portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal and external key partners to ensure technology is developed according to systems engineering principles and Verification and Validation models.
- Embed knowledge within the organization, set up training and instructions, and define a vision and strategy for innovative technology.
- Academic level with a bachelor and/or master's degree in a technical direction, e.g., Industrial Design, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Automation, or Electrical Engineering.
- Demonstratable knowledge on this specific technical domain in a relevant industry.
- Ability to translate high-level market and business requirements and opportunities into technology and system development needs.
- Project management qualities, capable of keeping a clear overview and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Experience with the application of Systems Engineering principles.
- Effective communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus.
