GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Shiftleader / Supervisor. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of daily and shift distribution activities, while driving process improvements and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of associates to achieve performance targets and develop corrective action plans when necessary.
  • Supervise and develop staff, ensuring they have the necessary training and coaching to excel in their roles.
  • Assign duties and monitor work completion for accuracy, while maintaining a positive team dynamic and resolving employee relations issues.
  • Implement and coach Lean Warehousing System and processes to drive efficiency and quality.
  • Lead daily start-up activities with cross-functional teams and interact with internal and external customers to ensure seamless communication.
  • Monitor and adjust personnel scheduling to support all shifts and accounts, while planning and organizing staff workload.
  • Maintain daily and weekly reports, documentation of processes, and reduce environmental impact through conscious waste, energy, water, and fuel consumption.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, operations management, supply chain management, or business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of operations experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with Dutch being a plus.
