About the Role
GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the daily activities of our logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Supervise and train team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers to ensure their needs are met.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
