Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Test Development Engineer to join our team at Trinamics Beheer B.V. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for developing reproducible and maintainable test methods for various systems, designing and executing functional and non-functional tests in the lab, and analyzing and post-processing test results using statistical techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement test methods for mechanical systems, ensuring reproducibility and maintainability.
  • Design and execute functional and non-functional tests in the lab, using a variety of testing equipment and software.
  • Analyze and post-process test results, using statistical techniques to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate reliability tests and hands-on measuring system analysis, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product reliability and performance.
  • Write test specifications and ensure adherence to quality standards, collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Provide training on testing methodologies and support continuous improvement initiatives, sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in R&D or mechanical test development, with a strong background in testing and analysis.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a mechanical test laboratory, including designing and executing test methods.
  • Proficient in MSA methodology, test method validation, and statistical data analysis.
  • Experience in creating high-quality technical documentation, including test specifications and reports.
