Sales Market Specialist Netherlands

About the Role
We are seeking a talented Sales Market Specialist to join our Commercial team in the Netherlands. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing existing and creating new customer portfolios, identifying market opportunities, and pursuing business growth through New Business Development projects.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Execute the commercial strategy defined by the Commercial Manager Benelux, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Act as the company's eyes and ears on the market, conducting market studies to identify new opportunities and quantify their financial and technical feasibility.
- Pursue business growth by initiating and managing NBD projects at existing or new customers, collaborating closely with Customer Technical Service, the Business Innovation Center, and other colleagues in European business units.
- Manage a customer portfolio, identifying and understanding customer needs, developing and maintaining long-term relationships, and ensuring coordination between customers and internal Lhoist services.
About You
- Education: Scientific University degree, Business Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Civil Engineer, Chemist Bio-Engineer, or Economics degree.
- Skills: Fluent in Dutch and English, with any other language (especially German or French) being a plus. Minimum 3 years' experience in a technical or marketing position in the industry, with passion for industry, products, and innovative solutions, commercial affinity, negotiation skills, and account management experience.
