Job Title: Director Integrated Warehouse and Distribution

Job Description:

As Director Integrated Warehouse and Distribution, you will lead the Integrated Warehouse and Distribution activities for the Growth Region, driving performance and reliability to ensure customer satisfaction. Your role will involve developing and implementing a logistics strategy that supports Philips' regional and business-level goals while maximizing benefits.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a logistics strategy that supports Philips' regional and business-level goals while maximizing benefits.
  • Lead an IWD organization of about 5 direct and 18 indirect members, focusing on driving performance and reliability to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring timely delivery of finished goods and effective management of upstream, mainstream, and downstream logistics costs.
  • Build strong relationships with carriers and forwarders, negotiating favorable contracts, and ensuring efficient handling of transportation, warehouse, and 3PL operations.
  • Drive continuous improvements in the supply chain through digital advancements, lean methodology, and process innovation to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, coaching, and building a strong logistics team aligned with key performance indicators like OTIF, cost, and inventory accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Industrial Engineering).
  • At least 10 years' working experience in Supply Chain of which experience in Continuous Improvement is required and experience in Project Management/Supply Chain Strategy Management preferred.
  • Experience in managing warehousing and distribution is required.
  • Management and leadership experience is required.
  • Demonstrate strong customer-centric leadership by aligning logistics strategies with regional nuances, driving exceptional customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Problem Solving skills. Able to find solutions to difficult or complex issues. Drives continuous improvement via applying LEAN methodology.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead within a matrixed environment, driving strategic alignment across business units and regions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
