SABIC - Saudi Basic Industries Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead its Chart of Accounts and Global Consolidation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing SABIC's global Chart of Account in accordance with the company's accounting standard and policy, management reporting needs, and ensuring data quality control.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement SABIC's global Chart of Account in accordance with the company's accounting standard and policy, management reporting needs, and ensure data quality control.
- Define and enforce a manageable universal ledger in SAP across all legal entities worldwide.
- Establish and implement governance to maintain and enhance the Chart of Account.
- Ensure and improve the connection among the SGAAP (Sabic Accounting Principle), SAM (Sabic Accounting Manual), and the Chart of Account in SABIC IT systems to avoid discrepancies and safeguard compliance at both consolidated and statutory levels.
- Lead the global consolidation CoE team to deliver a fully automated consolidation tool that fits into the SABIC legal/statutory/tax consolidation needs and are up-to-date based on the changing business environment.
- University degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Former SAP FICO consultant can be advantageous.
- 9+ years in management position, experience in managing a global team will be an added plus.
- Broad experience in finance, account, and reporting processes and systems.
- Strong change management skills and ability to drive performance and delivery-oriented organizational climate/culture.
