SABIC - Saudi Basic Industries Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Data Management to lead our global Chart of Accounts and consolidation efforts.
Job Purpose:The Senior Manager Data Management will be responsible for designing and implementing SABIC's global Chart of Accounts in accordance with our accounting standards and policies. This role will also lead the global consolidation CoE team to deliver a fully automated consolidation tool that meets our legal, statutory, and tax consolidation needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement SABIC's global Chart of Accounts in accordance with our accounting standards and policies.
- Lead the global consolidation CoE team to deliver a fully automated consolidation tool that meets our legal, statutory, and tax consolidation needs.
- Establish and implement governance to maintain and enhance the Chart of Account.
- Ensure and improve the connection among the SGAAP, SAM, and the Chart of Account in SABIC IT systems to avoid discrepancies and safeguard compliance at both consolidated and statutory levels.
- Collaborate with upstream teams to constantly identify and resolve upstream issues related to consolidation and CoA.
- University degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Former SAP FICO consultant can be advantageous.
- 9+ years in management position, experience in managing a global team will be an added plus.
- Broad experience in finance, account, and reporting processes and systems.
- Strong change management skills and ability to drive performance and delivery-oriented organizational climate/culture.
