Job Summary

SABIC is seeking a skilled Static Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a Static Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our plant's mechanical equipment. This includes conducting preventive legal inspections, improving cost, reliability, and availability of equipment, and collaborating with colleagues to optimize maintenance plans and cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the quality and timely delivery of specification and scoping of legal 'static' inspections to maintenance manager/senior planners.
  • Leading role in preventive and predictive maintenance to static equipment, including checking executed preventive work/documentation compliant with regulations and legal requirements.
  • Responsible for the delivery of maintenance repair plans, including applicable engineering requirements related to first-line troubleshooting of findings from legal inspections.
  • Discuss/define necessary replacement and improvement projects with technical colleagues.
  • Responsible for the delivery of small modifications and acting as project responsible in the Management of Change process.
  • Participates in adequate information exchange on and analysis of legal 'static' inspection work with other ME static engineers allocated to the plant.
  • Member of scoping team meetings and responsible for correct and timely Turn Around 'preventive legal static' scope of specific plant.
  • Leading evaluations of executed preventive legal static maintenance work to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Material owner of 'static' materials within defined area.
  • Participates in hazard reviews and root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • Mechanical MBO+/HBO or equivalent.
  • Several years of relevant static experience in the chemical industry, preferably in a BRZO environment.
  • Responsible for an adequate level of as well as plant-specific knowledge (PGS, EEMUA, ...).
  • Technical knowledge expertise regarding static equipment (failure mechanisms, WBDA, PED, ...) and analytical skills including Quality & Safety awareness.
  • SAP (PM) knowledge.
  • Dutch language.
