We are looking for a talented Greenhouse Automation Specialist to join our team at Hoogendoorn Growth Management. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the development of innovative horticultural automation solutions.

Job Description

As a Greenhouse Automation Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to train and support our partners and customers worldwide in the installation, preparation, and commissioning of our systems. This may involve working remotely or traveling to customer sites to provide expert technical guidance and assistance. Your knowledge and service skills will enable our customers to grow their flowers or food with confidence, reducing worries and increasing productivity.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support partners, customers, and sales colleagues in the engineering of automation projects;
  • Commission systems with our partners worldwide, approximately 5 times a year, and provide user instruction;
  • Perform software updates within the Benelux region;
  • Gather customer wishes and ideas, and actively contribute to the further development and expansion of our products.

Requirements:
  • You have experience or affinity with the installation of all technical installations and automation within greenhouse horticulture;
  • You hold a higher professional education (HBO) level of work or thinking, preferably with a diploma in Measurement and Control Technology, Mechatronics, Automation (electro)technology, or similar. If you have a vocational (MBO) level 4 diploma in a similar field, we'd also like to hear from you;
  • You are proficient in both French and English, both spoken and written;
  • You are analytical, communicative, solution-oriented, result-oriented, stress-resistant, and, of course, customer-oriented.
