About the Role

This leadership role requires a deep understanding of supply chain strategy, including cost optimization, quality control, and delivery time management. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing strategies that drive business results and improve operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on cost reduction, process improvement, and service excellence.
  • Analyze and optimize the global logistics network, including plant, warehouse, and distribution center locations.
  • Manage transportation and distribution strategies to minimize costs and improve efficiency, leveraging advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, ensuring business continuity and meeting sustainability goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, purchasing, materials management, or similar customer-facing roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Extensive experience in the chemical industry, particularly in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement, with knowledge of the sector's specific challenges and regulations.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software, data analysis tools, and technologies.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and make data-driven decisions to optimize the supply chain.
Working Conditions

This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
