We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant/Project Manager to join our Energy Transition Technologies team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers in realizing their goals and ambitions in the energy transition.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to provide technical and strategic advisory services to (inter)national utilities, industry, asset owners, governmental organizations, and investors. You will work on a wide variety of energy and decarbonization technologies, including sustainable fuels, bio gas, biomass and waste, hydrogen, electrification, hydro, and geothermal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a consultant and advise our clients in projects, combining technical expertise with project management skills.
  • Ensure that projects are executed within scope, quality, budget, and planning.
  • Act as the key expert and first point of contact for our customers on specific topics or services, preferably in the field of sustainable fuels.
  • Write and review proposals, reports, and advice for our customers.
  • Contribute to clear and high-quality customer interactions and presentations.
  • Work together with and lead colleagues and experts in projects.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network with (potential) clients.
  • Identify customer/market opportunities and develop our services based on these needs.

Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in a technical study, preferably with a specialization in Energy and/or business management or equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of relevant working experience in the industry, with experience in technical and/or financial consulting, project development, and project management.
  • Affinity with energy- and production processes in the industry, preferably in the field of sustainable fuels.
  • Strong network in Industry.
  • Strong skills and capabilities to develop yourself as a consultant and project manager.
  • Understanding of the technical consequences of a business decision as well as the business consequences of a technical decision.
  • Ability to work individually as well as in a team.
  • Ability to handle complex (technical) problems and be able to deal with multiple parties with conflicting interests.
  • Ability to lead (inter)national projects and function as a trusted partner of our customers.
  • Confident, able to get their view across, and willing to participate in training/mentoring junior staff.
  • Effective writing and communication skills in both Dutch and English language are a requirement.
