About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Engineer to join our Offshore Energy Global Engineering division. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in further developing our position within the Offshore Energy market.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify, prioritize, and address potential opportunities and risks in the tender and project execution phase. You will conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, including Monte Carlo simulations, to ensure that our risk management processes are robust and effective.

You will also be responsible for facilitating risk sessions for the Tender team and ensuring that risk management remains high on the agenda throughout the organization. Additionally, you will document and track the status and implementation of risk response actions, as well as log and share lessons learned and best practices.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. You will also need to be able to work well in a high-pressure environment and be able to adapt to different situations and personalities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prioritize, and address potential opportunities and risks in the tender and project execution phase
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, including Monte Carlo simulations
  • Facilitate risk sessions for the Tender team
  • Document and track the status and implementation of risk response actions
  • Log and share lessons learned and best practices

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience as an engineer, preferably in the Offshore Energy sector
  • A master's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Logistic Management, or similar
  • Experience in Monte Carlo or logistical simulations, or Oracle Primavera Risk is seen as an advantage
  • A good command of written and spoken English
