Cost Estimator Offshore Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Estimator to join our Offshore Energy team at Boskalis. In this role, you will be responsible for creating accurate cost estimates for our various international projects, including offshore wind farms and installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cost estimates for projects, taking into account customer demands and available specifications.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including tender managers, planning engineers, and procurement, to ensure accurate cost inputs.
- Participate in risk sessions and provide expert advice on potential risks and mitigation strategies.
- Support the project team with work preparation, including concept planning and budgeting.
- Inventory and assess prices from subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Challenge tender teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate cost estimates.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in Cost Estimation, preferably in Offshore Energy, with a focus on Renewables and Installation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, such as Civil Engineering, Maritime Engineering, or Offshore Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of contract management and financial-economic business processes.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Results-driven and proactive approach, with analytical and accurate skills.
- Senior Cost Estimators require expertise in stakeholder management and advisory roles within the tender team and business unit management.
