Job Description
As a senior cost estimator for Boskalis' Offshore Energy division, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our company. Your expertise will be crucial in estimating costs for our projects, ensuring we stay on track and deliver results.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates for our projects, taking into account various factors such as customer demand and available specifications.
- Collaborate with the tender team to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project requirements and develop effective strategies for cost management.
- Provide expert advice on risk scenarios during tender and implementation phases, ensuring our projects are well-positioned for success.
- Support the project team with work preparation, including drawing up concept plans and initiating working budgets.
- Conduct thorough assessments of prices from subcontractors, services, and suppliers, ensuring we secure the best value for our projects.
You Will Thrive in This Role If
- You have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in cost estimation, particularly in the Offshore Energy Transport and Installation sector.
- You hold a bachelor's degree and possess tangible expertise in stakeholder management and advisory roles within tender teams and business units.
- You have demonstrable technical and commercial insights, as well as in-depth knowledge of contract management and financial-economic business processes.
- You are proficient in written and spoken English and possess an analytical and accurate approach, with a focus on being result-oriented and proactive.
