We're seeking a talented Technical Solution Architect to join our team at Searchsoftware. As a key member of our fast-growing scale-up, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on the future of energy with cutting-edge digital solutions.
Our company partners with major grid operators to provide an advanced cloud asset monitoring platform that uses IoT sensors to generate critical data on the state of the grid. By detecting anomalies and improving maintenance processes, our platform helps improve efficiency and reduce downtime. We also work with renewable energy producers, offering a flexible and secure way to control assets like solar panels and wind turbines.
The Role
As a Technical Solution Architect, your role will be instrumental in enhancing the capabilities of our flagship product, the Teleport gateway. You will work on integrating additional protocols to make assets like solar inverters and batteries controllable through the platform. You will also contribute to the development of local logic when multiple assets are connected, ensuring the system reacts intelligently to varying grid conditions. Additionally, you will support new and existing customers as they onboard the system, ensuring they can fully leverage the platform's capabilities.
What You Bring to the Table
This is a role for someone with a strong technical background, particularly in JavaScript or TypeScript, who is eager to deepen their skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You thrive on solving complex problems and are driven by curiosity and a desire to help customers succeed. A self-starter with excellent communication skills, you're comfortable working across teams, from technical experts to commercial leads, and can quickly adapt to changing demands. Experience or interest in the energy sector is a plus, but not a requirement—what matters most is your ability to translate technical challenges into innovative solutions that drive business value.
