Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, along with 1+ years of experience in mission-critical services or related fields.
- Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Background Check Requirements:
Successful candidates must meet Microsoft’s security screening requirements, which include passing a specialized background check upon hiring and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, with 3+ years of experience in mission-critical services, or an Associate's Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an operations specialist in a primary area of critical systems operations (e.g., electrical, mechanical, controls).
- Regularly inspect and oversee critical facility equipment and grounds for safety and compliance.
- Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to manage equipment assets and maintenance requests.
- Lead incident response teams for abnormal conditions affecting operations, coordinating with other professionals for corrective actions.
- Develop and enhance emergency operating procedures and standard operating procedures related to critical systems operations.
- Perform various maintenance tasks independently, adhering to established procedures for equipment.
- Provide guidance to junior colleagues in troubleshooting systems and resolving issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols while executing work responsibilities.
