**Job Opportunity in Public Health**
We are seeking highly qualified individuals to join our faculty as Tenure-Track Clinical Professors, Clinical Associate Professors, or Clinical Assistant Professors in the School of Public Health at HKU.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Contribute to teaching public health principles to students in degree programs such as public health, global health and development, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and Chinese medicine.
- Lead research programs at the forefront of 21st-century public health, focusing on areas such as Applied Virology, Behavioural Sciences, Big Data Analytics, Community Medicine, Environmental Health, Exercise and Health, Health Care Financing, Health Communication, Health Economics, Health Policy, Healthcare Management, Implementation Science, Mental Health, Population Immunity, and Public Health Practice.
- Develop and implement innovative research projects, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address complex public health challenges.
- Engage in academic leadership, mentoring, and professional development to advance the field of public health.
**Requirements:**
- Primary medical qualification registrable in Hong Kong and a specialist qualification in Public Health Medicine (F.H.K.A.M. (Community Medicine)) or equivalent.
- Commitment to developing knowledge relevant to the improvement of the health of populations and the reduction of health disparities.
- Evidence of public health scholarship, including leadership in publications and external grant support.
- Experience in teaching students how to improve the health of large populations and mentoring future academic leaders.
