About the Role


We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our Technical Department at Boskalis Nederland.



Key Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our rolling stock, including trucks, cranes, pumps, generator sets, compressors, hydraulic sets, and grabs. You will work at our Service Center in Capelle aan den IJssel and occasionally at project locations in the Netherlands.



Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • An MBO level of education and thinking, preferably in mechanical engineering or automotive technology, or comparable knowledge gained through work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle technology.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of applicable labor and safety regulations.
  • Eagerness to learn, enthusiasm, and a willingness to take courses if necessary.
  • The ability to perform repairs at various locations within the Netherlands, if required.
