At Vattenfall, we are looking for a talented Sr. Consent Manager to join our Offshore Consenting team in the Netherlands.

Job DescriptionAs a Sr. Consent Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enabling our offshore wind projects in the Netherlands. You will act as a coordinator and problem solver within the organization, working together with different teams and disciplines. Your key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing consenting requirements, risks, and opportunities to support project selection
- Delivering and implementing a consenting strategy in development projects to support bid preparation
- Obtaining consent by understanding, anticipating, and communicating applicable permits, laws, and regulations
- Ensuring timely application for and receipt of necessary permits
- Enabling consent compliance by actively tracking and managing permit requirements and commitments
You will also have the opportunity to work across all stages of the project, from project development to delivery and operations.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in renewable energy, environmental science, sustainability, spatial planning, public administration, or another relevant field
- Knowledge of offshore environmental and spatial planning regulations
- Relevant professional experience (min. 3-5 years) in permit management for offshore wind projects in the Netherlands
- Strong project management skills and excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch (native or near-native) and English (full working proficiency)
