Overview of the Position

As a Legal Support Specialist at Albelli, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of our legal support team. Leveraging your knowledge in legal processes, you will aid in the smooth and efficient execution of services that preserve our customers' cherished moments. Collaborating within a dynamic cross-functional team, your duties will encompass managing legal documents, ensuring adherence to e-commerce laws, and providing essential assistance in legal issues pertinent to our business activities.
Key Responsibilities

Corporate Governance

Draft legal documents such as resolutions, notices, and powers of attorney. Oversee corporate housekeeping by ensuring timely signing, notarization, and apostille of documents. Administer legal documentation for changes like director appointments, company name alterations, and other official submissions.

Administrative Duties

Develop and maintain a case management system, ensuring the Google Shared Drive is consistently updated. Keep the Legal Team's intranet page current, including templates, guidelines, and best practices. Monitor deadlines and deliverables while managing relationships with external law firms and KYC requests. Enhance departmental professionalism by refining tools, documents, and workflows.

Human Resources Assistance

Address and manage complex employment contract inquiries escalated from HR. Provide support in employment-related disputes and litigation.

Compliance Monitoring and Training

Stay informed on legal changes across Europe that impact Albelli. Assist in the rollout and training on the Code of Conduct and various governance policies, including the Whistleblower policy.

Intellectual Property Management

Support the review and administration of trademark and domain name portfolios.

Training Development

Create advanced training materials and comprehensive legal guidelines tailored for senior executives, working closely with legal counsel to ensure accuracy.

Contract Oversight and Review

Act as a key member in the implementation and management of an advanced contract management system and other legal compliance tools to improve efficiency. Lead the thorough review of contracts, coordinating feedback with senior stakeholders such as procurement and executive teams.

Litigation Assistance

Provide high-level support in document management and administrative tasks related to commercial and HR litigation. Collaborate with external counsel and senior internal stakeholders for seamless cooperation.

Legal Research and Analysis

Conduct comprehensive legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law, delivering detailed summaries and analyses to inform strategic decisions for senior leadership.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

Certification or associate's degree in law (bachelor's degree preferred). Proficient in technology. Experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents. A proactive and hands-on approach. Strong team collaboration skills. Excellent organizational and communication abilities. Proficiency in English.

Additional Preferred Experience:

Knowledge of Dutch (and other European languages) is advantageous.
