The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Automation Specialist to join our team. As an Infrastructure Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for executing project tasks for our client, translating complex architecture and security issues into concrete solution building blocks, and working on both configuration and implementation aspects.

The Job

As an Infrastructure Automation Specialist, you will proactively carry out your tasks based on your knowledge and personal attitude. This ranges from translating the design into a realization and setting up the associated rollout instructions. Additionally, you will be the go-to person for third-line support questions, devising tactical solutions for the client, and designing them thoroughly. This includes issues such as integrations, migrations, security, and determining necessary performance.

Your Responsibilities

  • Automating manual processes.
  • Technical setup and management of (cloud) environments.
  • Performing upgrades (new versions of components) and updates (patches).
  • Logging, monitoring, and optimizing environments.
  • Setting up and using CI/CD.
  • Release Management.
  • Capacity Management.
  • Setting up management processes.

The Profile

General Work Experience:

You are familiar with several of the products, technologies, and knowledge areas mentioned below and regularly apply them in your work. Certification is a plus:

  • Automation using Red Hat Ansible (certified).
  • Automated provisioning of IaaS and PaaS services.
  • Databases in an enterprise environment.
  • Secure by Design.
  • At least Red Hat RHCSA certification.

Additionally:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the technical management of private cloud environments.
  • Familiar with hosting (IaaS and PaaS), high availability, high performance, scalability, and security best practices.
  • Management processes.
  • Knowledge of Linux (RHEL 8 and/or 9) is a plus.
