Mechanical Lead Engineer for Machine Conditioning

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Lead Engineer to join our Machine Conditioning department at ASML. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the conceptualization, detailed hardware design, and technical product documentation of our lithography machines.
Key Responsibilities- Translate performance specifications into design specifications for (sub-)modules, ensuring feasibility, flow, pressure drop, gas purity, availability, manufacturability, and design hardware.
- Guide technical discussions towards the best design solution that meets all requirements and implementation, including quality and timing.
- Ensure the design is documented with proper models and drawings.
- Cooperate with internal customers and suppliers as input for the hardware roadmap and to close the feedback loop.
- Coach and guide junior designers in making high-quality designs.
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in mechanical and industrial engineering, aerospace engineering, or related fields.
- Solid design experience in relevant (F&T) industry.
- At least 2-5 years of experience in a lead engineer role.
- Excellent knowledge in the field of manufacturability of mechanical parts.
- Technical communication with suppliers.
- Experience with NX (Unigraphics) or similar CAD program required.
- Motivated team player with a high level of social, coordination, and communication skills, including speak-up and providing feedback.
- Ability to show pro-active and self-supporting behavior in a highly dynamic environment.
- Ability to organize work effectively and having a systematic approach in problem-solving.
- Demonstrate self-awareness.
- Pragmatic, result-oriented attitude and cultivate innovations.
- Experience in building and steering internal and external design teams on quality, technical skills, and timing.
- Good command of the English language (both written and verbal).
