About the Role

Bayer is a leading international organization dedicated to developing innovative solutions for a better world. As a Quality Testing Lab Intern, you will be part of our team in Bergschenhoek, working in state-of-the-art laboratories and collaborating with a knowledgeable team focused on viruses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out laboratory activities and service assignments, including prepping lab tests, working with the ELISA method, and maintaining quality certification according to the NAL qualification.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations regarding quality and phytosanitary policies.
  • Contribute to process improvement and support co-laboratory workers during activity execution.
  • Secure a safe, compliant, and positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Currently studying at an MBO level 4 in a related field, such as laboratory testing.
  • Knowledge of quality organization and processes.
  • Customer-centric mindset, with care and concern for stakeholders and the team.
  • Collegial, helpful, accurate, proactive, and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal.
