Regulatory Advisory Expert
We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Advisory Expert to join our Credit Transformation Office. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our lending processes are compliant with regulatory requirements and efficient in meeting client needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a clear vision of target regulatory compliant and efficient credit lifecycle processes
- Identify gaps between current processes and the target vision, and advise on suitable solutions for gap closure
- Understand the background of ECB observations/findings and ensure a common understanding within ABN AMRO
- Assess solutions based on signals during the OSI and expert opinions, and define direction to address observations
- Define action owners based on chosen solutions, in alignment with responsible recommendation owners
- Ensure mitigants/risk acceptances are in place where required
- Identify root causes of deficiencies in credit risk processes/dependencies and propose sequencing of solutioning
- Maintain high-level combined regulatory and operational knowledge of lending to handle complex compliance issues
- Bring in best practices based on deep understanding of market developments
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, and change-driven individual with in-depth regulatory expertise
- Experience with bank policies and regulations in the field of credit risk, with ability to translate these into requirements
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Strongly developed risk mindset and first line of defence principle
- At least 5-7 years of experience
