Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Strategist to join our team at Scamander. As a Data Strategist, you will play a crucial role in advising our clients on their data strategies, setting up effective data management processes, and implementing best practices to help them maximize the value of their data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct data audits and assessments to evaluate clients' current data management practices and identify areas for improvement
  • Advise clients on developing and implementing data management strategies that align with their business objectives
  • Assist in designing and setting up data management processes, including data governance, data quality, and data architecture
  • Guide clients in resolving data-related challenges, improving their data landscape, and ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of their data
  • Provide training and workshops to clients to raise awareness of the importance of data management and help them become data-literate

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Ability to work independently and lead teams
  • Proactive approach to advising clients and managing conflicts and competing interests
  • Ability to identify opportunities and provide solutions for improving the data landscape
  • Structured thinking and accurate decision-making
  • Familiarity with DAMA-DMBOK, Non-Invasive Data Governance, and other data management concepts
  • Higher education degree and excellent command of the Dutch language
