About the Role

The Finance & Risk Data Sourcing team within the Data Domain is responsible for sourcing data for stakeholders in Finance and Risk. As a Business Developer, you will work with financial products and systems to understand how data is reflected and reported. You will analyze data and propose functional mappings and reporting solutions. You will also investigate requirements, support the creation of functional mappings, and coordinate solutions for gap closures.

About the Team

The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG) and employs 250+ international professionals. We aim to generate reliable risk data on time by improving risk data, data systems, and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model and have a dynamic, open, and informal atmosphere.

About You

You will be part of the Finance & Risk Data Domain and work in one of the teams of F&R Data Sourcing. You will report to the Expert Lead/Product Owner F&R sourcing & oversight. To be successful in this role, you should have an interest and experience in delivery of (parts of) Data Platforms within Finance. You should be a passionate, hard-working professional with an eye for details and be able to execute assignments independently.

Requirements

  • You've successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (WO/Msc.)
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a data domain, preferably in an Finance Reporting or Risk Management environment.
  • You have in-depth exposure to the various banking products and can participate in data modelling activities combining this knowledge to the current and future sourcing models as they evolve
  • You have knowledge of Data Management, including sourcing, transformation and preferably data lineage
  • You are able to analyze data quality based on the agreed upon sourcing instructions and can recommend improvements to both the instructions and the quality checks where necessary
  • You are a strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management.
  • You are capable of giving and asking for feedback.
  • You have worked in and/or with Scrum/DevOps teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • PowerBI and SQL skills will be an added plus.

What We Offer

  • The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
