Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Data Architect to join our Global Business Services team. As a key member of our team, you will design and implement advanced data engineering and modeling solutions that underpin our business intelligence capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Engineering & Architecture: Develop and maintain a scalable and efficient business intelligence infrastructure, focusing on data engineering practices that enhance data accessibility, reliability, and quality. Architect data models and ETL processes that serve as the backbone for insightful analytics and BI solutions.
  • Advanced BI Solution Design: Lead the design and implementation of complex BI projects, transforming business requirements into technical specifications and actionable insights. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of semantic models, Power BI reports and DAX queries to ensure high performance and usability.
  • Project Leadership & Execution: Drive BI projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations, leveraging agile methodologies where appropriate.
  • Data Governance & Quality: Implement data governance policies and practices to maintain the integrity, security, and quality of data within the BI ecosystem. Advocate for best practices in data management and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • BI Platform Optimization: Collaborate with IT to optimize the BI platform for performance and scalability. Lead efforts to enhance data warehousing capabilities and integrate new data sources, ensuring the BI environment evolves to meet changing business needs.
Requirements
  • Academic Background: Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in data engineering, BI architecture, or a closely related field, with demonstrated success in designing and implementing BI solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Advanced skills in Power BI, data modeling, ETL processes, and data engineering methodologies. Proficient in SQL and knowledge in Fabric, Cloud, Azure, Databricks, Python is a plus.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
