About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA Engineer to join our team at Albert Heijn Nederland. As a key member of our Data Management services team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure using Oracle Cloud services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure and highly available infrastructure services using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using scripting languages such as Ansible, Shell, Python, and PowerShell
  • Collaborate with application teams to optimize database performance and ensure seamless integration with cloud-based applications
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and other tools
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on Oracle Cloud services and infrastructure automation
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Cloud technologies and best practices
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle database administration (DBA) and additional database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL
  • Experience with database migrations, Exadata CS setup, and automation
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Ansible, Shell, Python, and PowerShell
  • Experience with SaaS-based observability solutions and DevOps practices
  • Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
