About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Purchaser to play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity and efficiency of our production processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials and negotiating favourable terms with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement processes for feedstock and other essential materials.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
  • Monitor market trends and identify new suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand and fulfil procurement needs.
  • Contribute to cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Affinity with the by-product market and food waste is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar procurement role.
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in Dutch and English.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented and able to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Interest in sustainable and innovative solutions within the food industry.

  • A kilometre allowance of €0.23 per km.
  • Coming by bike? Then you will also receive an allowance of €0.23 per km. Public transport is also fully reimbursed.
