This project brings together 5 universities, 3 universities of applied sciences, 11 Smart Industry communities, SMEs, and sector organizations in an eight-year program to create a sustainably employable workforce.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated PhD student to work on the intersection of science and practice, contributing to the understanding of how the exchange of information and absorptive capacity of participating organizations can be optimized. The successful candidate will conduct systematic literature reviews, set up network analysis, and develop tools to provide actionable feedback and insights to Smart Industry communities.
Responsibilities- Conduct systematic literature reviews to identify key building blocks of inter-organizational collaboration
- Set up an intensive network analysis to follow the exchange of information within Smart Industry communities
- Develop tools to provide actionable feedback and insights to Smart Industry communities
- Work independently on research while maintaining close connections with other researchers and stakeholders
- Report and present findings for scientific and non-scientific audiences
- University Research Master's or MSc degree in business administration, organizational studies, psychology, or a related field
- Excellent methodological and statistical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English
- Interest in topics about inter-organizational collaboration, collaborative innovation, and lifelong learning
- Ability to work in a team and manage interests of different stakeholders

We offer a salary of € 2,000 (PhD) and maximum € 3,000 (PhD) gross per month in the fourth year, for a full-time employment. We also offer attractive fringe benefits and regulations, including a full-time 38-hour working week, 8% holiday allowance, and 8.3% end-of-year bonus.
