Job Title: Platform Architect

Job Description:

As Philips continues to grow as a leader in clinical solutions and services, our Enterprise IT architecture must evolve to meet the demands of a rapidly changing healthcare landscape. We are seeking a highly experienced Platform Architect to drive the introduction and adoption of enterprise architectural principles in the field of Patient Safety & Quality (PS&Q) and Enabling Functions.

Your Role:

  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand their needs and develop a technology roadmap for PS&Q and Enabling Functions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in PS&Q and Enabling Functions technologies and drive the development of shared assets that can be reused across teams.
  • Work closely with the Platform Group Functions IT team to design and implement a modular, cloud-based architecture that incorporates capability-based APIs and microservices.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and projects to deliver business value and drive digital transformation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (computer science or equivalent) with 15+ years' experience.
  • Extensive experience with AI, ML, business process management, and RPA to automate and simplify End-to-end business processes at scale.
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing business applications in PS&Q and Enabling Functions.
  • Proven business process expertise in various functional areas focused mainly on PS&Q and HR.
  • Expertise in architecting and designing solutions using SOA/Rest/Micro Service patterns.
  • Experience with cloud computing on Microsoft Azure as well as AWS.
  • Industry-specific knowledge/interest in regulatory compliance, QMS frameworks, legal processes, and HR processes.
  • Strong Project management understanding of Agile methodologies, budgeting, and resource management.
