Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct empirical research to identify and analyze security and privacy issues across a range of digital platforms.
- Utilize both technical measurements and human-computer interaction methodologies, including surveys and interviews, to gather insights on user experiences and perceptions.
- Focus your research on specific topics such as:
- Large-scale assessments of privacy concerns in websites, mobile applications, and smart devices.
- Examination of deceptive design practices in online services that may adversely affect users.
- Development of countermeasures against online tracking and strategies for enhancing digital self-defense.
- Conducting studies to gauge awareness and handling of digital rights risks among end users and developers.
