International Marine Service Technician

Role Overview

In this position, you will be tasked with conducting maintenance and commissioning services aboard various vessels.

Adhere to safety protocols and report any unsafe practices or incidents. Demonstrate extensive product knowledge of the primary product lines. Prepare service tasks for efficient execution, following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Travel internationally to service assignments on vessels, and sail with the ship when necessary. Carry out maintenance, repairs, advanced troubleshooting, commissioning, and other related services. Document all work performed and conclusions reached while on board, ensuring service reports are signed by the client. Identify potential enhancements, including sales opportunities, provide advice to clients, and relay information back to the organization. Contribute to SOP improvements. Deliver formal training to colleagues and clients; assist in the development of training materials and content.

Additionally, you possess:

A Technical MBO+ or Bachelor’s degree with a focus on mechanical or electrical engineering. Fundamental understanding of PLC technology, process control, and measurement technology. Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
