The RoleWe are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team in Vlissingen, Schiedam, Romania, Germany, or Indonesia. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our IT business systems, aligning technology solutions with our strategic goals, and optimizing business processes to ensure IT resources and applications are optimally leveraged.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct feasibility studies and assessments to determine the viability of implementing new business systems or enhancing existing ones.
- Design, develop, and implement (non-) engineering business application solutions through collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Manage the integration of different business systems to enhance efficiency and streamline business processes and data flow across Damen Naval.
- Ensure that Damen Naval's business systems comply with security standards and regulations.
- Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard sensitive data and information.
- Develop and manage the IT budget for business systems, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
- 7+ years of experience in IT business system management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in an IT or similar technical study.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, services, and regulations.
- Good command of the English language, and preferably also Dutch language (written & verbal).
- Excellent antecedents as a pre-employment security screening and investigation are a part of the recruitment procedure.
- EU citizenship or valid EU work visa is required to be considered as a viable candidate.
- A competitive salary and 8% holiday pay.
- 27 holidays and 13 ADV days.
- Travel allowance of 23 cents per kilometre.
- PME-pension arrangement with an employer contribution of 60%
- Profit sharing based on company results.
- Working from home policy and other benefits including a bicycle plan and company fitness.
