Job SummaryAs the IT Manager within Damen Naval's IT staff department, you will be the line manager of the Business Systems department. This department is responsible for managing and optimizing our IT business systems. You will also optimize business processes to ensure IT resources and applications are optimally leveraged. Additionally, you will manage the teams of Engineering Applications and Non-Engineering Applications.
Key Responsibilities- Designing, developing, and implementing (non-) engineering business application solutions through collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Managing the integration of different business systems to enhance efficiency and to streamline business processes and data flow across Damen Naval.
- Implementing and enforcing security protocols to safeguard sensitive data and information.
- Developing and managing the IT budget for business systems, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
- ~7+ years of experience in IT business system management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- ~ Bachelor's or master's degree in an IT or similar technical study.
- ~ Knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, services, and regulations.
- ~ Good command of the English, and preferably also Dutch language (written & verbal).
- ~ EU citizenship or valid EU work visa is required to be considered as a viable candidate.
