McCain Foods is seeking a Quality Management System Associate to join our team in EU operations. As a key member of our FS&Q Quality Digital and Analytics department, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to established quality standards and regulatory requirements within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute audit programs to assess compliance with McCain Quality Management System policies, procedures, customer, and statutory requirements.
- Plan and execute the McCain Quality Management system (KEFSQ) audit within the region, identifying and qualifying a pool of internal auditors to ease the execution of the program.
- Support local teams with internal audits and provide training to internal auditors.
- Coordinate and plan third-party certification audit programs within the region, supporting plants as needed and ensuring nonconformities are addressed in a timely manner.
- Document and update audit findings and CAPAs in appropriate tools, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure effective implementation.
- Work with the Customer Quality team to organize and manage customer relations meetings, discussing operational issues, audit planning, and certification strategy.
- Analyze client requirements and propose potential upgrades to the McCain Quality Management system.
- Prepare regular reports on audit findings and compliance status, presenting data-driven recommendations to management.
Requirements:
- Minimally holder of a bachelor's degree in a food science discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing organization.
- Strong understanding of fundamental quality management principles.
- Certified lead auditor with demonstrated proficiency in auditing techniques.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for conveying audit findings and recommendations.
- Expertise in AIB, BRC, IFS, FSMA, halal, and kosher standards.
- Knowledge of EU food laws and U.S./Canadian regulations is a plus.
- Excellent level of English is a must, with additional French and Dutch proficiency an asset.
