About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned expert in the field of Hematology/Oncology to join our team as a Clinical Development Medical Director. As a pioneer in this field, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders, providing scientific and medical expertise to internal and external stakeholders, and driving the development and execution of clinical plans for our haemato-oncology assets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the Hematology/Oncology community
- Provide scientific and medical expertise to internal and external stakeholders
- Drive the development and execution of clinical plans for our haemato-oncology assets
- Contribute to the assessment and appraisal of external assets and their ability to contribute to our internal programmes
- Lead and mentor more junior members in the drug development journey
- Prepare, attend, and present at relevant medical and scientific conferences
- Conduct scientific research and contribute to the development of scientific publications
- Recognized leader with a broad knowledge of the drug development process
- Ability to interact credibly with key functions internally and key scientific, regulatory bodies externally
- Strategic management of complex active development programmes and competing priorities
- Develop integrated innovative clinical development plans merging scientific rationale with regulatory imperatives
- Clear knowledge and expertise of publication planning
- Ability to build and establish a dynamic and inclusive culture with a positive, abundant mindset
