Position Overview

As Netflix continues its expansion, we are seeking a Direct Tax Analyst to enhance our EMEA Tax Team based in Amsterdam. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including:

  • Managing quarterly US GAAP tax provisioning.
  • Overseeing annual tax positions within IFRS/local GAAP financial statements.
  • Facilitating communication with external auditors for financial statements.
  • Coordinating the corporate income tax compliance process with local advisors.
  • Engaging in global tax planning initiatives.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across different teams and cultures. We are looking for someone who is:

  • A self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
  • An effective communicator who fosters robust relationships with both external advisors and internal teams.
  • Skilled in multitasking, prioritizing, and adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and innovative in approach.
  • Curious and enthusiastic, willing to ask questions and challenge existing norms.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate in their work.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with international tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in collaborating with third-party service providers.
  • Experience in a multinational corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with IFRS and/or US GAAP tax provisioning.
  • Project management skills with a proven track record of process enhancement.
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and preferably with ERP systems like Workday.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are advantageous.
