Job Description:

As an Operations Manager at GXO Logistics, you will be responsible for leading and driving the operation from the front, ensuring compliance, performance, and delivery of a world-class service. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting, agreeing, and managing objectives and KPIs with direct reports to achieve a 'best in class' operation.
  • Measuring and reviewing operational performance against company and customer KPIs and implementing appropriate actions to seek continuous improvement.
  • Driving communication, engagement, and continuous improvement throughout the warehouse with a constant focus on reviewing and improving processes.
  • Planning, supervising, and coordinating Lelystad Platform operations during shifts/areas.
  • Providing training and assessments to teams, including performance evaluations.
  • Guaranteeing necessary resources for Warehouse Managers and coordinating Warehouse Manager teams.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree/HBO in related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Logistics/Warehouse knowledge (Operations Manager) in automated logistics/distribution centers/warehouses/stockrooms.
  • Good PC skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, along with knowledge of creating and interrogating spreadsheets and data.
  • Knowledge of English at a professional level.
  • Knowledge of Spanish and Dutch is an advantage.
  • Management skills, leadership, motivation, planning, conflict analysis, and resolution, flexibility, proactiveness, initiative, strong communication skills, change and conflict management, influence, innovation, result-oriented, persevering, decisive, stress-resistant.
