As a Facility Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective services. Your primary focus will be on managing all operational facility tasks at our site.

Key Responsibilities of the Facility Coordinator

  • Oversee the facilities at the site, ensuring safety and maintenance of buildings and grounds.
  • Identify potential hazards and compliance issues, guaranteeing a safe working environment.
  • Manage projects throughout the year, including initiatives like upgrading lighting systems, while maintaining a comprehensive project overview.
  • Analyze existing processes for optimization, critically assessing data to improve operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the main liaison for the cleaning team, handling escalations and managing service requests to ensure effective communication and resolution.
  • Communicate with various suppliers to obtain quotes, place orders, schedule work, and manage invoicing processes.

Qualifications for Success at GXO

  • Relevant experience in a similar capacity (facility services, safety, technical services, administration) or a completed degree in a related field.
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills, with a flexible and proactive approach, and the ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in English, with knowledge of Dutch considered an advantage.
